Euromax terminal

Description

Developed on the Maasvlakte of Rotterdam in the Netherlands, of the fully automated Euromax container terminal to generated extra container handling capacity to the port of Rotterdam.

After the success of the first fully automated container terminal in the world, ECT asked the staff of Solid Port Solutions to manage the construction of a new state of the art fully automated terminal.

Employees of Solid Port Solutions have managed the project of installing the latest development of port equipment with the latest version of the Navis N4 Terminal Operating System.

The terminal is the world largest in one goal realized fully automated terminal project. The terminal is the latest generation of automated terminals with state of the art but proven technology most of it based on 20 years of experience on the ECT Delta Terminals. Commercial opening was on 01‐09‐2008.

With the building of this terminal, the staff of Solid Port solutions gained their first basic knowledge of how to use port automation to be the success factor of a new port. Their knowledge has increased of the years to today’s knowledge making them capable to assist you with any (port) automation request you might have.

Employees of Solid Port Solutions have managed the project of building the Euromax Container Terminal on the Maasvlakte of Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
