Kloosterboer is operating a terminal in Flushing specialised in temperature controlled food products. The cargo packaging is gradually shifting from traditional general cargo to containerised cargo. The main customer of Kloosterboer, decided to switch its cargo from conventional transport to container transport to Western Europe. It is important for Kloosterboer to not stay behind in this development but to go along with it and be prepared for the future. Therefore, Kloosterboer invested to be able to handle all containers and grow even further.
This investment is divided in different subjects:
Selection and implementation of new Terminal Operating System (Navis);
